David Albagli Partner

MBA, Harvard Business School

Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration, Universidad Católica

David founded Brain Food in 2015. He has over 12 years of experience, working in marketing at 3M and later in strategy consulting at MatrixConsulting in various industries (Mining, Retail, Utilities, among others.). While at Harvard, he completed a 3 month internship at Google in the USA. His focus is on the intersection between strategy, innovation and technology. David is also a board member at two technology startups and a mentor at Endeavor.

His hobbies are sports, movies, reading, concerts and traveling.

Andrés Oksenberg Partner

Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration, Universidad Católica

Andrés has more than 12 years of experience. He started in the Finance area of Ripley and then spent nine years in strategy consulting at Matrix Consulting. His focus was mainly in strategic planning projects in various industries (Retail, Real Estate, Transportation, FMCG, among others). During his MBA at Kellogg, he worked in charge of Business Intelligence at Bucketfeet, a high-growth e-commerce company in the USA. Andrés is also a professor at PUC MBA where he teaches the Customer Analytics course.

His hobbies are soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family and children.

Diego Halffter Partner

Undergraduate Degree in Administration, Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Executive Program in Data Strategy, Haas Business School.

Diego has over twelve years of experience in business strategy, data analytics and team leadership. His previous position was Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Jüsto and prior to that he forged his career in strategic consulting advising companies in various industries on their data strategy and use of new technologies. He was recently named one of the Top 20 leaders in artificial intelligence in Mexico by Forbes. He is also a speaker, mentor and social activist.

His hobbies include spending time with his dog Tamal, reading and traveling.

Jose has been working at Brain Food for about 4 years and has been involved in projects related to Data Science and Machine Learning, reporting and BI, cloud solution design and implementation, among others. When he's not working, Jose claims (we don't quite believe him) that he plays paddle tennis and tennis, and spends his day studying chess.

I have walked through the world of data since I started programming the first year of my undergraduate studies. In my academic career I did cleaning, analysis and classification of distant galaxies, and then I started to apply these same techniques in the world of data consulting. I have two years of experience working with different industries such as gasoline, sports clubs and automobiles, applying predictive and segmentation skills. I believe that data science is advancing faster than it is applied, and being able to bring new technologies to the real world is key to solving a myriad of problems facing society.

Nicolás Ramírez Data Scientist

Nico is a professional passionate about two main areas in the workplace. On the one hand, data and the intelligence that can be extracted from them to address various problems, a passion that he enhanced during his degree work as a Data Scientist in a retail company. On the other hand, the consulting field, where he has had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with companies from different sectors, generating analysis and effective solutions, experience that he strengthened working as a consultant in a logistics and supply chain consulting firm.

Outside the professional field, Nico plays soccer at least three times a week, without leaving aside other sports such as paddle tennis or tennis, plays the bass guitar and enjoys quality time with his family and friends.

Ignacio has worked at Brain Food for more than two years since he started as a young intern in the software development area. To date, he has participated in projects of design and implementation of cloud architectures, digitization of processes, construction of data flows and integration of different computer systems. On the other hand, he has participated in the development of web applications as a freelancer and has had one or two attempts at entrepreneurship in the world of digital startups. He is very interested in the ethical use of technology to make people and organizations' lives easier.

Outside the professional world, he enjoys mountaineering, photography, sports, writing and mindfulness.

Damián Hettich Data Engineer

Industrial Civil Engineer from the Universidad de Chile.

Damián defines himself as a lover of movement. From most of his youth trying his best in high performance volleyball, he has gone on to do many different sports.

Damián likes working at Brain Food because, as in sports, the challenges are diverse, the good community and the flexibility that Brain Food has is not found anywhere else. He has always been self-taught, he started programming not long ago, but it has been a very nice journey, and in this job it's empowering.

He likes to talk about topics that make sense, like where the world is going, political trends, macroeconomics, but always with a touch of humor. He would love to get back to sports in a more focused and serious way, in general, he likes to do things properly.

Daniel has a solid work experience of more than two years, working both as a Data Engineer and Data Science practitioner in various sectors, including telecommunications and consulting. His experience spans a wide range of industries, from Commercial Debt Collection, Fintech, Real Estate Services to Retail-Fashion and the Oil sector. His focus has been on automating workflows using orchestration tools, as well as effectively implementing Data Science and Machine Learning models in production environments.

Nicolas holds certifications as Professional Data Engineer in Google Cloud Platform and Architect Associate in Oracle Cloud. He has a solid background that lays the foundation for experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of Data Engineering, Architecture and Modeling solutions.
For 3 years, he worked in the telecommunications sector, acquiring technological and data management skills that have been fundamental in his role as Data Engineer for the last 2 years. This transition has allowed him to approach data engineering projects with a knowledge of networks and communication systems, which translates into more robust and effective solutions in data analysis and decision making. In addition, his leadership as head of the Basic Sciences Research Semillero at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas reflects his commitment to research and continuous learning.
